Farhad Mahdavi is an Iranian music producer, DJ, and composer, born in Tehran in 1984. He grew up listening to classical music and playing the piano. In 2001, he began studying electronic music and started producing his own tracks. In 2006, he was selected to participate in the Red Bull Music Academy in Berlin. In 2007, he released his first album, "The Sound of Farhad Mahdavi", to critical acclaim. His second album, "In Search of Sunrise 6: Ibiza", released in 2009, received even more praise. In 2011, his third album, "Elements of Life", was hailed as his best to date. His fourth album, "The Journey", released in 2013, was even more successful than its predecessors. In 2015, his fifth album, "The Road to Tomorrow", received more rave reviews. In 2017, his sixth album, "The Future", was also well received. Finally, in 2019, his seventh album, "The Present", was once again well received by critics.
