BIOGRAPHY
Liam Payne is a British singer and musician, born on August 29, 1993, in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, England. He began his musical career by participating in school musicals. In 2008, he auditioned for the British talent show "The X Factor," but did not make it to the finals.
It was in 2010 that his professional career started when he became a member of the boy band One Direction, formed during "The X Factor." The group achieved international success with the release of their first album "Up All Night" in 2011, which topped the album charts in the United States and the United Kingdom. Their second album, "Take Me Home," released in 2012, was also a major success, reaching the top spot in several countries. Their third album, "Midnight Memories," which came out in 2013, was even more popular, with the single "Best Song Ever" reaching number one on the UK singles chart.
One Direction went on a hiatus in 2016, and Liam Payne started his solo career. His first single, "Strip That Down," released in May 2017, reached number three on the UK singles chart. His first album, "LP1," was unveiled in December 2019. Liam Payne has also collaborated with other artists, including J Balvin, Rita Ora, and Quavo.
