Charli XCX, real name Charlotte Emma Aitchison, is a British musical artist born on August 2, 1992. She is a singer, songwriter, and music video director. Charli XCX began producing her own music at the age of 14 and was quickly discovered by a promoter who invited her to perform at warehouse parties. In 2008, she signed with Asylum Records and released her first studio album, "True Romance", in 2013.
