Bon Jovi is a American rock band formed in 1983 in Sayreville, New Jersey. The band consists of Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, David Bryan, and Tico Torres. The band has sold more than 100 million albums worldwide and has been named one of the "100 greatest artists of all time" by Rolling Stone magazine. In 2018, Bon Jovi was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The band found immediate commercial success with its first album, Bon Jovi (1984), which reached the top of the Billboard 200. The second album, 7800° Fahrenheit (1985), was a commercial disappointment, but the third album, Slippery When Wet (1986), was a massive success, reaching the top spot in numerous countries and selling over 28 million copies worldwide. The fourth album, New Jersey (1988), was also a commercial success and reached the top spot in numerous countries.

The fifth album, Keep the Faith (1992), had less commercial success, but the sixth album, These Days (1995), was a commercial and critical success, and was certified five times platinum in the US. The seventh album, Crush (2000), was another commercial success, and the eighth album, Bounce (2002), was certified double platinum. The ninth album, Have a Nice Day (2005), was a commercial and critical success, and the tenth album, Lost Highway (2007), was another commercial success.

In 2009, Bon Jovi released The Circle, which was a commercial and critical success. In 2013, the band released What About Now, which was a commercial success. In 2016, Bon Jovi released This House Is Not for Sale, which was a commercial and critical success. In 2018, the group released This House Is Not for Sale (Deluxe Edition), which was a commercial and critical success.
