Alecia Beth Moore, better known as Pink, is an American singer, songwriter, dancer, and actress, born on September 8, 1979, in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. She began her career in 1995 with the R&B group Choice. Her first solo album, "Can't Take Me Home," released in 2000, was a commercial success and peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. Her second album, "M!ssundaztood," released in 2001, was an international success, reaching No. 1 in the UK and Australia.
In 2003, Pink released her third album, "Try This," certified platinum, which produced three singles, including "Trouble," which reached the top 10 of the US charts. Her fourth album, "I'm Not Dead," released in 2006, was certified double platinum and produced five singles, including "Stupid Girls," "Who Knew" and "U + Ur Hand," which all reached the top 10 of the US charts.
In 2007, Pink released her first live album, "Live in Europe," and her first compilation album, "Greatest Hits... So Far!!!." In 2008, she released her fifth album, "Funhouse," certified double platinum, which produced four singles, including "So What," which reached No. 1 in the US.
