3LAU is a progressive house DJ and producer from the United States. His real name is Justin Blau.
3LAU began making music at the age of 13. He started out as a bedroom producer, making mashups and remixes of popular songs. He gained a following on SoundCloud and YouTube, and released his debut EP, Dance Floor Filth, in 2012.
3LAU's music is characterized by catchy melodies and heavy basslines. He has collaborated with a number of well-known DJs and producers, including Tiësto, Hardwell, and Steve Aoki.
3LAU has played at some of the world's biggest music festivals, including Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, and EDC Las Vegas.
In 2016, 3LAU launched his own label, Blume, and released his debut album, Ultraviolet. The album peaked at #1 on the iTunes dance chart and #3 on the Billboard dance chart.
