Sick Individuals is a Dutch electronic music producer duo composed of Rinze "Ray" Hofstee and Joep "Jim" Smeele. The duo formed in 2008 while they were both students at the Utrecht School of the Arts. They started by creating music for short films and advertisements before transitioning to producing electronic music. Their unique sound draws inspiration from a variety of genres, including progressive house, electro house, and dubstep. They are best known for their remix of Axwell and Sick Individuals' "I Am," which reached the top of Beatport charts. Sick Individuals have also produced remixes for artists such as Rihanna, Icona Pop, David Guetta, and Avicii. They have become a regular name at electronic music festivals worldwide, with performances at Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, and Sensation White. In 2017, the duo released an album titled "Future." Since then, Sick Individuals have continued to produce music, perform at festivals and clubs around the world, and inspire the next generation of producers with their signature sound. With their talent for creating catchy melodies and impactful drops, Sick Individuals are a duo to closely follow in the new generation of electronic music.
